Prime Video releases new UI
What was the design goal of Prime Video’s new UI?
To make it easy for users to find content in Prime video. It reportedly took about 18 months for Amazon to develop this UI.

Design Highlights
1) Updated navigation menu
A simplified navigation menu is kept on the left side which is easy to use with a cleaner Interface and minimalist look
2) Separate sports tab
A separate Sports tab is created so that sports enthusiast can jump into this page and bing watch their favourite sporting event
3) Exclusive content tag
Tag that separates paid content(golden shopping bag icon) from free (blue check mark)
4)Immersive carousals – Amazon calls these movie tiles as “Super carousal” which are big and very immersive.
5)Other highlights- New Find page & store section, Live TV tab.
This was a much needed revamp. Now the Prime video UI is on par with Netflix and Hotstar. Below given is our rating UI- 4.5/5 & UX – 4.5/5.
