By adding NTC classes to their platform, Netflix could expand its offering beyond entertainment and appeal to health and fitness-minded audiences. Users could access NTC’s workout library and training plans directly from the Netflix app, making it more convenient and accessible for users who want to integrate their workouts with their entertainment consumption. This could also increase engagement among existing users, who may be more likely to continue using the platform if it offers a broader range of content.

Training class details:

It will conduct 30 hours of training session in 2 batches focusing on following areas

  1. Kickstart Fitness with the Basics
  2. Two Weeks to a Stronger Core
  3. Fall in Love with Vinyasa Yoga
  4. HIIT & Strength with Tara &
  5. Feel-Good Fitness

Once the classes are live, users will be able to search them in Netflix using the keyword “Nike”

Netflix had already tested a similar healthcare content by collaborating with Headspace on meditation & mindfulness content. Earlier this year, Netflix lost 2 lakh subscribers. Netflix hopes to increase its user base using this initiative.
